Simon Dunton
Senior Trainer and Consultant
Simon Dunton is a Senior Trainer at Oxford EMI and trains lecturers and teachers in our face-to-face courses and online. He is also one of our EMI consultants and works on Oxford EMI projects for institutions which are internationalising and for Ministries of Education. Simon has an in-depth knowledge of English Medium Instruction and the challenges it poses for lecturers and teachers.
Simon has a significant background in the field of Education, in which he has worked since 2006. He has extensive experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and delivered EFL and EMI teacher training courses in the UK, Italy, France, Russia, Taiwan and Japan. Simon has worked on creating and delivering teaching and training materials for OUP, and Trinity College London, and is the pedagogic editor of the Integrated Skills in English coursebook series from Trinity College London Press.
