Simon Dunton
Trainer and consultant
Simon Dunton is a trainer and a member of the Oxford EMI consultancy team. Simon has over 16 years of experience in teaching, training, and resource creation in ESL in the UK, Italy, and Russia. He is currently working on our EMI consultancy project in Taiwan, observing classes and evaluating the implementation of EMI in 45 institutions.
As the Teacher Development Manager at Trinity College London, he oversaw the implementation of teacher-training courses across the globe, leading to Ofqual regulated TESOL qualifications. Simon holds the Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA) and an MA in TESOL. Simon’s research interests include integrating inclusivity and diversity into the language classroom, English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) and materials adaptation and creation for specific learning contexts.
