Simon Dunton
Senior Trainer and Consultant
Simon Dunton is a Senior Trainer at Oxford EMI and trains lecturers and teachers in our face-to-face courses and online. He is also one of our EMI consultants and works on Oxford EMI projects for institutions which are internationalising and for Ministries of Education. Simon has an in-depth knowledge of English Medium Instruction and the challenges it poses for lecturers and teachers.
Simon has a significant background in Education. He has been working in the field of Education for 20 years and has experience in teaching, EMI and TESOL teacher training, and resource creation in the UK, Italy, France, Russia, Taiwan and Japan. Simon was the Teacher Development Manager at Trinity College London for many years and he oversaw the implementation of teacher-training courses across the globe, leading to Ofqual regulated TESOL qualifications. He is the pedagogic editor of the Integrated Skills in English coursebook series.
