Ben Valbret is our Educational Designer, shaping the content and concepts developed by our trainers into clear & engaging course materials for both face-to-face and online learning environments.
With a focus on instructional clarity and accessibility, Ben ensures that complex information is structured logically, key ideas are visually emphasized, and learning materials are easy to navigate.
By applying user-centred design, Ben ensures that language and presentation never hinder the transfer of pedagogical concepts.
This thoughtful and deliberate design approach is especially valuable for EMI lecturers who may be learning in a second/third/fourth language. Lecturers will also be teaching their own classes and need to adapt content for their own students in a similar way.
 
The outcome is a suite of learning materials that effectively support teaching and learning across Oxford EMI’s range of courses.
